Wang Chung
Wang Chung is a British New Wave band best known for their upbeat, synth-influenced anthems of the 1980s such as “Dance Hall Days”, “Everybody Have Fun Tonight” and “Let’s Go”. Formed in London in 1980, Wang Chung consisted of Jack Hues on vocals and guitar and Nick Feldman on bass and keyboards. They eventually released seven albums between 1982’s ‘Points on the Curve’ to 1992’s ‘Nomad’. The duo found success with all of their albums although they are most famous for their 1986 LP ‘Mosaic’, particularly singles like “Space Junk” and “Hypnotize Me”. Wang Chung had what was described as a unique artistic vision, combining wry British wit with soaring melodies, intelligent production techniques and contemporary relevance that spawned numerous chart-topping singles from the mid-80s up until the early 2000s.
