Toad The Wet Sprocket
Toad The Wet Sprocket is an American alternative rock band from Santa Barbara, California that was formed in 1986. Comprised of Todd Nichols (vocals and guitar), Glen Phillips (vocals, guitar, piano and mandolin), Dean Dinning (bass), and Randy Guss (drums), Toad The Wet Sprocket released albums in the late 1980s and 1990s that featured hit singles like “Walk On The Ocean,” “All I Want,” and “Fall Down.” Toad The Wet Sprocket’s distinct sound created a unique combination acoustic folk-pop songs with emotional lyrics. Toad The Wet Sprocket gained mainstream success with their 1994 album “Dulcinea” which released two more hits, “Something’s Always Wrong” and “Good Intentions”. Toad The Wet Sprocket’s combination of thoughtful sing-along lyrics, driving rhythms, and lush melodies have made them enduringly popular over the decades.
